Vintage 1980’s | XS | Exquisite designer silk ball gown

An exquisite 1980’s ball gown by designer Enid Morris for Neiman Marcus! While we cannot find much about the designer, trust us when we say this is top tier vintage!
From the quality of construction and the materials used - this is as good as it gets. Sumptuous silk peau de soie in bright violet is used to construct the boned, strapless bodice. Meanwhile, warp printed silk taffeta in gradient stripes of brushed gold, juniper green and two shades of violet comprise the enormous, lightweight skirt and matching shawl.
The gown is finished with a subtle 😉 bow to the rear in silk peau de soie.
The first layer of the skirt is lined with silk organdie, followed by a layer with tulle for fullness and horsehair for structure.
This is the perfect addition to fashion lovers wardrobe, a very special piece for that very special occasion.
We’ve paired the look with a 1950’s cocktail hat and rhinestone jewelry set - available separately.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for. They will likely have general wear and blemishes. We try our best to note any major wear or damages on each garment - although we may sometimes overlook things - which we do apologize for.
Please do not expect all vintage garments to come perfect, unless "MINT CONDITION" has been stated in the description.

Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. Most vintage garments do not have the stretch or give of modern fabrics. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure (twice) a similar garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed.


We cannot offer refunds for fit issues, variances in monitor colors, or buyer’s remorse since these things are out of our control.
