Rare Vintage 1970’s | XS/S | 1974 Alice Pollock documented pattern knit set with balloon sleeves

🧶A RARE Alice Pollock geometric wool knit skirt and jumper set circa 1974! A version of this knit is documented on the cover of “Fabulous 208” magazine from the same year.
The colour-block stripes and pyramids play nicely against the heather grey ground of the knit. The top features a low-cut keyhole neckline with wide collar, bishop sleeves and a cropped fit. The midi skirt skims the hips following the a-line silhouette. Soft and cozy, cool and effortless style - absolutely perfect for the upcoming autumn season.
Excellent condition and hand laundered, with some small darns to the knit skirt (backside so you’ll never see it) just above the pattern.
The elastic waistband of the skirt has been replaced.

Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. Most vintage garments do not have the stretch or give of modern fabrics. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure (twice) a similar garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed.


We cannot offer refunds for fit issues, variances in monitor colors, or buyer’s remorse since these things are out of our control.
